*squeeee*

Um. So I've been watching lots and lots and lots of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on YouTube lately. >_>

So, I decided to get my tapes of seasons 8, 9, and 10 in order. (1997-1999) In doing so, I found some tapes that I didn't know what they were. So I popped them in the VCR.

I fast-forwarded for a bit to see what was on there, and lo and behold, it's the MST3K Oscar special from 1998. And then it's a commercial break. There's a picture of some hardcover books... WTF? Lord of Chaos? *rewind rewind rewind play* There was a "SciFi Buzz" snippet about how the Wheel of Time books were one of the most popular series around, "with more than 2 million copies sold." And then there was a teeny tiny bit of The Creator speaking, talking about how fantasy always gives hope that good will triumph over evil etc etc. Thusly, it would appear that the SciFi Channel began indoctrinating me in the ways of the Tower more than 10 years ago.

Thank you, won't you?
