So weather today was fired yet again. rain and general ickyness is counterproductive and causes me to not go to class. it's a very exact correlation. so that died this morning; then i went to my JPN history discussion at 2:30. had a hell of a time finding parking in the garage... apparently nobody wanted to take the bus or walk today... can't imagine why... class was interesting. we talked about kamikaze pilots and our skewed opinion of them.

i made dinner. yey.

after dinner, played blitzball for awhile (go aurochs!), then headed out to Northampton to see Traveling Matt at the Iron Horse. woo. go TM. they will be performing at Fill the Hill, if anyone cares. we met sirinya and rachel and sarah (all from Smith) at starbucks, and ran into Colby there. woo. then it started pouring and lightninging etc. :( jess doesn't like thunder and lightning. grr. but then we went to the show. it's funny. the signs we posted say "9:00", the Iron horse signs say "9:30", they let us in at 10, and the show started at 10:30.

then the band played.

quite frankly, the show rocked. keith is hilarious. mmm... bass man.

jeffry had to go buy gas, but we didn't get out until after 12, so most of the gas stations in Noho were closed. we went to the citgo right by 91, and there were approximately 25,881 stupid people on line to return stuff, none of whom had receipts, and 2 chickies on their way somewhere after the prom outside. so that took ~10 min. then we drove to Sundy so i could go home. suffice it to say, there are 2 cop cars in Sundy, and 1/2 of the police force was posted in a speed trap. isn't there something more productive he could be doing than blinding drivers at 12:45 in the morning?

i'm also pissed about not getting to play in commencement band. gr. i am a mostly graduating senior who has never gotten to do commencement band. and he decided that a freshman, a senior, and a junior should do it. then again, i've never been too happy with a certain conductor who will remain nameless, anyway (dress rehearsal 7:30-10:30 on Saturday night, anyone?). but hey, leaves me more time to pack.

i am waiting for my money from the feds. new jersey already paid me off, but i'm waiting for love from the IRS.

What do you even /do/ when you have two friends who had a fight? I want to remain supportive of /both/ of them and remain neutral, but one of them is…
