Bleah, forgot to post this yesterday

12:19 PM- scratch that, my watch now says it's 12:20
what the hell does the x stand for, anyway. i have officially theorized that it's because when they designed the airport, they put lots of x-s in the architecture.

When was the last time I posted, anyway? i forget.

Well, I had a nice time with my aunt and cousin this week. I got to see Nemo (P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney) and Pirates (arr!), I got to go to Disneyland, and I got to see Neil Gaiman at Comic Con.

I really miss broadband already. I should convince my dad to get DSL or cable. bleah.

Newark is the ghettoest airport ever. And, as usual, since I am on United in LAX, I had to walk about a mile to find the gate I was actually at. Stupid check-in being in terminal 7, and gate 68A being in terminal 6...... and then, to kill time, I walked around again and went all the way to the end of 7 and back......

I think I just saw a 757 take off. no, wait, it was too short to be a '57. maybe it was an airbus. does continental have airbuses?

We saw a 747 land this morning!

and i have some pictures of planes outside the terminal. I am going to do research and figure out what they are all by myself.

hm, do i feel like writing about the debacle that was comic con security?

nah. I had a great time. I got to meet Greg Dean of Real Life Comics, Fred Gallagher (Piro) of Megatokyo, Steve Troops of Melonpool, Jon and Phillip from Goats, John Allison, formerly of Bobbins, and, in passing, Neil Gaiman. The Gaiman autograph almost didn't happen. Thank God for dumb luck. And, to quote Jeffry, "I'd like to thank all of the defeatists who quit waiting, and gave us the opportunity to get closer." So now I have an autographed first edition of American Gods, and Jeffry has an autographed revised British Edition of Neverwhere.

In the name of all that is good in the world, when the movie Mirrormask finally comes out, GO SEE IT. It has a chicken. and sock puppets, still actually on feet. how cool is that? hm? and it is going to be GORGEOUS. and it has a houseful of tiny griffins, all of whom are named Bob. Except for Marshall. Well, we think his name's marshall, we kind of forgot. >_< It's either marshall or sherman. and Henson is interested in making a REAL movie of neverwhere, as opposed to the BBC mini-series, which is being released by A&E on DVD PDQ. Were there enough acronyms in that sentence?

Oh yeah, did i mention that i dressed as Death yesterday? I have officially an assload of pictures that will eventually be posted. not tomorrow, since i have to be at work all day. maybe monday. I will be pretty busy, for a day off. I have two interviews, one at 9 in Palisades Park, then one at 2 in Bayonne. w33.

Sunday, 11:01 AM EDT

obviously my flight landed, and I got home with no problems. when we were taxiing around LAX, I saw a 747 on the ground! and United has this thing where you can listen to the cockpit, and I heard the tower talking to a 777! I swear!

damn you, jeffry.

and I have to be at work in an hour. pfeh.

wow. i was so busy reading my other comics all last week, I think i forgot to read sluggy. damn.
