I have concluded that the average customer at the Apple Store failed kindergarten. -_- These people are utterly incapable of matching colors and shapes. They take things off of pegs, and fail to put them back in their proper place. They hang them back up, but hang them on the wrong peg. Seriously, if you're going to try, just try that teensy bit harder.

Ugh, i was so pissed off at humanity today at the store.
On the other hand, I got my business cards. Yay. I'm somewhat official. However, I haven't been trained yet. >_>

And my grandma is so cute. I'm staying at her house tonight because tomorrow I have an interview down south-ish Jersey. Her house is much closer, so yay. I only have a 1-hour drive instead of 90 min. Yay.

I had an interview 2 weeks ago, and they haven't gotten back to me yet. Gr.

I've decided to start studying HTML so I know exactly what's going on with my web site. Of course, I have to update it, too.

I am entirely amused right now. I'm installing a copy of realMyst that I got in a multi-pack of old games. The file extension of most of the game files is .dni. Yay. ^___^

You know, I forgot how much of a pain the very beginning of Myst is. Stupid not having any obvious tasks to complete. -_-

So last night, as I was attempting to go to bed, my computer decided to spaz on me. I plugged it in, and it told me that it would take 5:35 to charge, or some such nonsense. That's not normal. It takes, usually, if it's left alone, MAYBE 2 hours to get a full charge. So it spazzed, I spazzed, I kept checking on it, and the time kept getting longer.

I reset the PRAM, no response. Well, except the battery was fully charged, despite it having immediately previously said 6:42 until charged. O_o So today I had to look online to see how to reset the Power Management Unit (sounds like a magical thing... and it is.). Thus far, all better. I ran it off battery while I was just copying some things, and now, with a 94% full battery, it says it will be 0:22 until full. yay.

Myst I could play in my slee. Riven is the killer. Myst III: Exile is better, though short. I haven't had a chance to play Myst IV yet even though I've had it since October, and Myst V is coming out THIS October. And then there's always Uru. *cackle*

(Actually, apparently they're really done forever with Myst V: End of Ages. Alas.)

*is jealous about Uru* grr.

Worst part of Myst, by far, is the stupid subway in the sound age. grrr. Defintely had to use a walk-through for that when I played it last time.

I've played through a bunch of Riven, never quite finished it. I should pull out those cds some time.

I, too, picked up Myst IV (the collectors' edition) back in October/November (came with III as a bonus ^^), so I started playing III again (I've got the original release... got the collectors' edition then, too, so I have a little pewter figurine of the chirping animal somewhere, and I got the strategy guide for free with it). Um. I think I've finished 2 of the ages, I'm close to the end of the nature one, though. My favorite is the motion one. Yay for riding inside the ball around the whole age!

Hmm... I also must find the copies of the Myst books I have around somewhere. Yay for the history of the D'ni.

I never could do the mazerunner, either. When I played it the first time in 8th/9th grade
(both; it took me most of a year), I had to wait on that until I met someone who had played it and could tell me how. The rest I did on my own. And I wrote a walkthrough, hehe. 12,000 downloads on AOL! Those were the days. :-P

I gave Dan my old copy of Exile when I got the bonus with Revelation, because (1) he didn't have it, and (2) I'd rather have the DVD, hehe. Although of course at this point if I ever do get around to buying the 10th anniversary collector's set, that'll be my third copy of Exile. I hate -- HATE, HATE -- Edanna. That's the nature one. LOATHE FIERCELY. The ride in Amateria is awesome, though.

I got really into it all again -- the books and mythology and everything -- last year when Uru came out. I think Myst V is going to draw that bridge between Myst and Uru, but I should keep my mouth shut about it until I finally get the chance to play Myst IV, which at this point will probably be May.

Have you not played Uru? The 2nd expansion pack is buggy as all hell, but it's a prtetty good play...

I was going to ask if your problem ws the Mac port that never ended up showing up. They did start working on it, as I understand, but it never came to anything. Alas!
