Camel Sits on W.Va. Woman Painting a Fence

I still don't have a new blazer that fits me.
But I do have 2 pairs of shorts, a nice pair of brown pants, and a very very nice new top. (and some jogging stuff, but you don't care about that...) I love Kohls. Everything I got was on sale (too bad the $10 pants didn't fit me well enough to get them, tho).

This morning I made myself get up early and *bum bum bum dramatic orchestra hit* went for a walk/jog. I've decided to start this online training plan called Couch to 5k in order to try to get myself out of this plateau I've been in for awhile. It was great to be able to do something fairly easily today, knowing that the last time I tried it I failed miserably. Last fall, when I was going for walks in the AM, one day I decided to try to jog from this one street sign to the crosswalk following it. The sign reads "Crosswalk, 523 feet". So last fall, when I attempted it, I practically collapsed afterwards, I was so winded. Today, not so much. I reached the crosswalk, crossed the street, and walked home. Yay.

I think I did too much activity today, tho. 7 APs in one day can't really be that good for me, can it? I do love my heart rate monitor. Bestest thing ever. Lets me know accurately (that's a key word) how many calories I've burned, so I can accurately count my Activity Points. So I got 4 points this morning for my walk/jog (about 2 milesish). I wouldn't have done anything else, except Maya would have gotten mad at me if I missed a workout with her. I already "missed" one on Tuesday cause I didn't realize the PS2's clock was off. ;_;

Isn't it funny how I can go weeks with really nothing to say at all, then all at once, BOOM! ?
