woohoo for going to the beach!

RA Day Away was a great deal of fun. we all rode to Venice Beach in mad style in our yellow school bus. it was a lot of fun, especially when we were disparaging the dude in the convertible right next to us, with our windows open. :)

we "kidnapped" one of the RPA's (residential program assistants) to the beach with us. yet again the saying that all the good guys are taken, or gay, is proved true. especially when they are both gay and taken. :( oh well.

we walked all up and down the "boardwalk". it took us an hour and a half. i refuse to call it a boardwalk straight out, since it is paved. boardwalks are made of wood, duh. it was quite amusing, tho. there is a very definite "tattoo district." there are like 8 tattoo places within a two-block radius, and about 20 henna tattoo places. still thinking...

after study hall started, we went to santa monica for the sole purpose of buying busted stuff... the new dmb cd. is quite good. :) also picked up a couple new books from borders. mmm... books. however, i discovered that this particular borders, they keep the porno mags behind the desk on display right where the line starts. couldn't they cover them or something so i didn't have to see them? those hos.

my kids are the bomb-diggity so far. whee.
