this weekend was stressful, but interesting... high stakes uno is a good game. :) $5 ante, $5 every time you get skipped, and $20 if you are called on forgetting to say "uno". the talent show... well, we survived. that's all i can say about that.
my nevermores (16-year-olds) are being interesting. they are finding as many ways to break the rules at once. i politely informed them that if they do it again, they will miss their last dance ever at CTY. i am so mean. :)
last night the RAs went out to a mexican restaurant. we were meeting at 7 to go during study hall with the hopes of being back by the end of study hall at 9. we got to the restaurant, which is santa monica, at 7:35 or :40, got food at 8:15 or so, and my group did not even leave the restaurant until 9. the kids were apparently very unhappy with not being able to go in the buildings until RAs got there. oh well, they're over it.
my whiteboard marker died, so i kleptoed one from the RA supply closet.
